This weekend, I went to my first quarterly workshop for Les Mills with trainers Cesar and Sydnee. I remember my fellow instructor friend Marielle telling me about it in September and One thing about me, if it’s LIVE or a workshop, I’m going LOL.
Leading up to the workshop, of course I experienced car issues (because adulting) and had to rent a car. However, luck was on my side as I was able to choose whatever car I wanted and I got to drive a Jeep.

Driving to the workshop location was pretty smooth – I was in a Jeep, duh. When I arrived, I was was lost because the facility was HUGE but luckily I followed other instructors to the main studio. I was greeted by the charismatic Cesar and was able to sign in and get set up for BodyPump.
The workshop was structured where BodyPump was first, then Core, then a sit down discussion on Motivation, and last but not least BodyCombat. When Marielle and I talked about signing up for the workshop, we hoped we get a sneak peak of the new releases. Again, luck being on my side that day, we got to try out BodyPump 123 and BodyCombat 93. BodyPump 123 and BodyCombat 93 are u n r e a l. The music, the combos – the members AND instructors are going to love it.
Okay so now let’s talk about how amazing Cesar and Sydnee are. They did a phenomenal job launching the new material. To be honest, I don’t know how they juggle all of the material – they literally JUST got back from LIVE at London the weekend prior while filming for BodyCombat 94 and BodyAttack 119. Insane.
After the workshop, we got to go to a mixer at Uno’s to get to know each other a bit more. There were instructors that drove up from VA, some were local from NJ, and others from PA. It felt good being able to build connections that COVID put a damper on that past two years.
Below are some sweaty pictures, along with myself in full essence being silly.
